Plantar Fasciitis in Vancouver

Blog by Vancouver Orthotics, Hycroft Medical Building (114-3195 Granville St @ 16th Ave) | August 12th, 2008

Hi everyone. Hope you are all enjoying the summer!

One of the most common complaints that present to my office is a pain, especially in the morning, on the heel and bottom of the foot. This is usually a result of repetitive strain such as walking, jogging or standing on a hard surface with poor quality shoes. Plantar Fasciitis is 99% biomechanical and the treatment of choice, especially when flat feet are involved, is the prescription of custom orthotic inserts or orthotic shoes. Improvements are quick and long lasting. I enjoy very much helping patients feel better without the use of medication, naturally!
