Osteoarthritis of the feet, ankle, knee, hip and spine.

Treatment in Vancouver

Osteoarthritis is the most common form or all the arthritises. Osteoarthritis tends to affect the weight bearing joints of the feet, ankle, knee, hips and spine. There are specific signs and symptoms of someone experiencing osteoarthritis and radiographs (x-rays) or bone scans tend to be the most affective ways to diagnose the condition.

Osteoarthritis does have a genetic potential - one can be more prone to arthritic wear and tear. This is not purely an age related phenomenum either. Age and history of injury do play a role but improvements can be made through activity, nutrition and hands-on therapy such as chiropractic. Please contact us for more information.
