DIRECT BILLING FOR EXAM

Have your FEET examined.jpgDIRECT BILLING FOR EXAM

A very commonly asked question our patients ask is "can you direct bill" their extended health insurance for the exam & for custom orthotics. The answer is Yes and No!

Vancouver, Richmond & Burnaby Offices - are the only offices currently offering Direct Billing - for the $95 Exam Portion under Chiropractic Services.

ALL other Locations are not Offering Direct Billing at this Time.

All new patients are required to have a consultation & foot/posture exam. This is how we formulate the Diagnosis & come up with a Treatment plan. This appointment visit is booked for 30min as costs $95. This visit is deemed a Chiropractic Foot or Spine Exam and in some cases Yes, in most cases as long as your plan allows for direct billing, we are able to bill extended health insurance directly for all or part of this cost. Please bring in your plan ID & Group number as this would be required.

Currently, most extended health providers will not allow us to bill them directly for custom orthotic inserts. So No, we are unable to bill insurance directly for these custom orthotics. This means we need to bill the patient directly for them. We do accept & appreciate cash, debit & etransfer payments. We also accept Visa & Mastercard, but not AMEX.

Our office makes will provided you with the necessary paperwork required for reimbursement. This may include the Biomechanical Examination, Diagnosis, cost break-down, proof of payment, raw materials, lab invoice and casting technique. Some extended health plans require an MD/GP prescription. Please make sure to contact your health care provider directly to make sure you are in compliance with all of your plans specific requirements.
