Covid-19 Vancouver Orthotics Update
IN TOUGH TIMES WE MUST STICK TOGETHER
You can be assured that we have implemented to following office protocols:
- we will maintain the highest standards of office hygiene, cleansing and care.
- we will limit the # of patients in our office to maintain appropriate social distancing
- we will wear face masks & gloves during patient interaction
- we will provide antiseptic gel for patients
- we will provide a plexi-glass barrier between patients and front desk reception
- we will continue to follow Provincial Health guidlines
- All patients entering the clinic will be screened for potential COVID-19 exposure. Any patient that does not meet the screening protocols will not be treated.
- Please reschedule your appointment if you have: travelled internationally in the last 14 days, experiencing any symptoms such as fever, chills, sore throat, difficulty breathing and loss of sense of smell, or if you have had unprotected contact with an individual with a confirmed or presumptive diagnosis of COVID-19.
- Medical masks are mandatory when entering the clinic, we can provide you with one if needed.
- We also ask patients to sanitize hands upon arrival.
- We have removed items from the waiting room and treatment rooms to reduce clutter. The waiting room will have limited occupancy.
- We will be limiting the number of patients being seen at the clinic at a given time. We kindly ask that patients come to the clinic alone for the visit unless family or caregiver support is needed.
- Social distancing of 2 meters will be maintained wherever possible.
- We will be following the BCCDC guidelines for proper environmental cleaning standards of the clinic with approved COVID-19 sanitization products. Disinfection of the clinic rooms will be done between each patient and common areas will be sanitized regularly.
- All therapists and staff will be wearing face masks and maintaining social distancing wherever possible.
- Therapists are required to wash hands between each patient.

- Patients are often covered by their extended health care provider annually.
- MD/GP prescription is good for 12-months. An updated referral may be required.
- Orthotics help improve balance, stability, shock-absorption by providing enhanced foot alignment and function.
- We offer the newest technology: 3D Laser Scanner and Electronic Gait Scan.
